Larian Studios, the studio responsible for developing Baldur’s Gate 3, has announced interesting news for Xbox players and fans of the physical releases.
The highly anticipated Xbox Series The reveal is part of a broader message from Larian on X, which celebrated the multiple nominations and hinted it would be a busy week for the studio.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was originally released for PC in August and later for PS5 and Mac, and has until now only been accessible in digital format. However, Larian Studios has now hinted that accessibility will be wider, especially for Xbox users and fans of physical formats.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was initially scheduled to release for Xbox early this year. However, development was delayed as Larian struggled with the challenges of achieving a consistent standard for split-screen co-op gameplay across the X and S series.
In a recent meeting with Microsoft’s head of video games, Larian CEO Soen Finke confirmed that the Xbox version will finally arrive later this year, after the split-screen co-op feature on the Series S was removed to ensure trouble. – Free gaming experience.
