Part of the Back to the Future cast met last Monday the 14th in New York, US, to watch the premiere of the Broadway musical that inspired the movie.
Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown, Michael J. Fox, who lived Marty McFly, Lea Thompson, who was Marty’s mother Lorraine, and Thomas F. Wilson, who was responsible for giving life to Bev Tannen’s adversary, were also on site. .
The reunion takes place 38 years after the release of the first film in the franchise, which marked the 1980s. Lloyd himself has shared a click on the reunion on social networks>.
“Can we get to 88,000 likes? The past says yes,” the actor jokes in the caption, referring to the speed his character’s car needs to reach in order to be able to time travel.
Back to the Future: The Musical debuted on Broadway after two years running in the West End in London, UK. The production was created by Bob Gale, one of the film’s screenwriters, and the original music for the stage play was composed by Glen Ballard.
