The blue announced that it had signed a formal order with Airbus for three more A330-900 aircraft. With this, the company intends to expand its international network and complement its existing operations. With the addition of the three models, Azul will soon be operating a fleet of eight A330neo aircraft.
For John Rodgerson, CEO of Azul, adding new aircraft, in addition to enabling greater air traffic and modernizing the fleet, with its advanced technology, allows for less fuel and carbon dioxide in the environment.

The aircraft, in addition to other aircraft models that the company has in its fleet, can accommodate 298 passengers, with 264 economy class seats and another 34 business class seats.
The A330neo from Azul operates international flights to Europe and the United States and has an individual entertainment system. In all categories, the video playback quality is HD and touch sensitive. The monitors are equipped with a USB port for fast charging of mobile devices.

Passengers who choose to travel in Business Class have seats with direct aisle access – facilitating mobility, personalized meal options and in-flight entertainment.
In addition to all amenities, the meal menu is varied, always with four options, ranging from meat, fish and pasta. Dishes with soups, salads, cheeses and breads, as well as special appetizers and desserts.
