Update 2.19 Ghost of Tsushima Released yesterday on PS4 and PS5. The patch was only supposed to prepare the game for cross-play with PC, but it ended up generating more serious consequences.
Many players reported that the update “broke” the single-player mode. Basically, Ghost of Tsushima Now the mode freezes and pauses every few moments, making the game almost unplayable. The good news is that Sucker Punch Productions is already aware and has assured players that it is investigating the issue.
So, if you haven't downloaded the patch, it might be best not to.
