Coach Gabriel Milito has named Atletico’s squad with new features for the decisive match against San Lorenzo, on Tuesday (20), at 9:30 pm (Brasilia time), at Arena MRV, in Belo Horizonte, in the second leg of the round of 16. Copa Libertadores.
Atletico enter the field with: Iverson; Fox, Battaglia, Alonso and Arana; Otavio, Franco, Zaracho and Scarpa; Paulinho and Iverson.
The Atletico coach confirmed the return of the six players who were saved in the match against Cuiabá, last Saturday (17), for the Brazilian championship title. Battaglia, Alonso, Arana, Otavio, Scarpa and Paulinho are in the team’s squad tonight.
The big surprises are Saravia’s absence and Zaracho’s entry into the starting lineup. Defender Bruno Fuchs has been retained and should play on the right side.
On the bench are: Milito, Matheus Mendes, Lyanco, Saravia, Rubens, Vera, Igor Gomez, Bernard, Alisson, Kaddu, Vargas, Kardic and Palacios.
San Lorenzo enter the lineup with a change in goal. Altamirano, who missed the first match against Atletico, leaves the team due to the arrival of Gaston Gomez.
San Lorenzo confirmed with: Gomez; Arias, Romania, Gaston Campi and Paez; Trebicchio, Sosa and Irala; Leguizamon, Coelho and Reale.
