Qatar defeated Jordan 3-1 on Saturday at Lusail Stadium in Doha. He won the Asian Cup title. This is the second cup for the Qatari team in the competition, and the second in a row (the other was in the 2019 edition).
The first half was relatively balanced, but Qatar finished the match ahead. In the 22nd minute, the team's number 10 player, midfielder Afif, successfully executed the penalty kick.
This scene will be repeated twice more in the second half. Afif took advantage of Qatar's three penalty kicks, receiving two of them. The goal of honor for Jordan came from striker Al-Naimat.
Afif finished as the top scorer in the Asian Cup by scoring eight goals. He was the best player in the competition.
The Jordanian team ended up defeated in the final, but this was their best season in the history of the Asian Cup. The team has never gone beyond the quarter-finals of the tournament.
