The same woman who tirelessly repeated the above statements was crying profusely in the arms of a friend at a Sutton nightclub, on December 30, 2022. She did not want to tell the police that she had been raped by a famous player. He could barely talk about what had happened. He could only stammer out the following sentence: “They won't believe me.”
The club manager explained to her the importance of reporting at the time, an argument supported by police officers who arrived at the scene. Terrified and certain that the report would do her more harm than good, she agreed to tell that Daniel Alves had raped her that night.

The Barcelona hearing found Daniel Alves guilty of sexual assault, but the penalty applied – after considering the mitigating factor for damages – was less than the minimum stipulated by law.
“Let this end now, let this end now,” said the victim, once a complainant, upon hearing the word “appeal.” The lawyer and client are supposed to have a more calm conversation in the next few days to get back to the topic.
