Tired of the huge hole in a street in his neighborhood, in Brentwood, Los Angeles (USA), actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger solved the problem on his own. The movie star posted on social media a video showing him and another assistant with shovels and concrete as they repaired the road.
“Today, after the whole neighborhood was ripped off by this giant crater that’s been destroying cars and bikes for weeks, I went out with my crew and fixed it myself. I always say, don’t complain, do something about it. Here it is,” Schwarzenegger wrote on Twitter on Tuesday the 11th.

At one point in the video, a neighbor driving by the place thanks the star for the service. The actor replied, “You’re welcome, you’d have to do it yourself. That’s insane. I’ve waited three weeks for this hole to close.”
Schwarzenegger spokesman Daniel Ketchel told the outlet AP The residents of the neighborhood submitted several repair requests after winter storms caused many holes in the area’s roads.
Last week, Mayor Karen Bass announced a plan to deal with “an unprecedented number of damaged streets across the city.” According to officials, since Dec. 30, Los Angeles has received 19,692 service requests for repairs, and as of April 6, crews have fixed at least 17,549 potholes.
