The idea is that the feature will only be available to those who subscribe to Twitter Blue, the paid version of the social network. The suggestion was made by a user who posted that only subscribers are eligible to vote in polls on decisions related to the social network.

“Twitter Blue subscribers should be the only ones able to vote on issues related to the platform’s policies,” he wrote. In response to the user, Elon Musk himself said that “it’s a good point” and that Twitter should make this change.

The platform owner recently stated that after some bugs, he has decided that all significant changes will now be voted on by users. It came after Musk announced a change that would block profiles that share links with other social networks.
