Registration is now open for the free STEM course, which offers places in STEM fields to girls from all over Brazil. The Universidade Federal do ABC initiative targets female students enrolled in the ninth year of elementary school and/or high school, in public or private schools.
The virtual training aims to engage students from all over the country, spreading the character of a scientist in the face of the many possibilities and discoveries in the fields of STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics). The virtual event will take place between August and September 2021, with lectures and activities held over five Saturdays aimed at introducing STEM-related fields as a career possibility for participating girls.
