After being criticized on the Internet for displaying in the opening of “Baile da Santinha”, an image of a shirtless man, wearing red pants and horns. Leo Santana went public on social networks, on Sunday (26), putting an end to any controversy related to his name.
“I am a man of God. In addition to all my family and friends, some of them have other religions and beliefs, and it’s okay, everyone respects their religion,” began the singer who, amid criticism, had his faith questioned and even rumors of a possible pact with the devil were raised to maintain success.
“There is no doubt in my belief that anyone has: only I fear God and Our Lady of Aparecida. But regarding what has spread from the Baile da Santinha project, a project that we have managed throughout Brazil – which, by the way, will complete 10 years of existence – you You know, it’s a very topical project, playing with the idea of heaven and hell, the devil and the saint, whoever you are in the dance.”
Leo Santana also added that the photo he used at the event may have been exaggerated.
He concluded his speech by saying, “We may be exaggerating in the LED image, but who knows, I am the one who worships one God. If there is any doubt about my belief, you can remove it.”
“Prone to fits of apathy. Problem solver. Twitter buff. Wannabe music advocate.”
