The climate activist has joined other protesters demanding an end to fossil fuel subsidies
Climate activist Greta Thunberg Dutch police arrested him this Saturday morning (6) in The Hague, after participating in a demonstration that partially closed a highway in the area. Greta was seen flashing a victory sign while sitting in a car used by police to drive away demonstrators, who were protesting against Dutch subsidies and tax breaks for companies linked to fossil fuel industries. The demonstrators waved flags and chanted: “We cannot be stopped, another world is possible.” One of them held up a sign that read: “This is a dead-end street.”
