The State University of Pará (UEPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD), is promoting this Saturday (2), from 9 am to 3 pm, an action offering dermatological consultations in reference to Orange December.
The procedure will be open to residents at the Specialized Dermatology Reference Service, at the Center for Biological and Health Sciences (CCBS/Campus II), at the same UEPA. The December Orange Campaign is an initiative aimed at raising awareness and prevention of skin cancer, so that people understand the importance of sun protection and skin care to prevent the development of this disease.
At the UEPA/CCBS Dermatology Centre, care for suspected cases of skin cancer is free and does not require prior referral.
