A South African YouTuber is bitten by a green mamba and dies after spending a month in a coma

South African YouTuber Graham Dinkelman, known as Dingo, has died at the age of 44, after spending a month in a coma following a bite from the green mamba snake, one of the most venomous snakes in the world.

Dingo suffered anaphylactic shock as a result of an allergic reaction, and was transferred to the intensive care unit and entered into an artificial coma for a month, but he could not resist the infection and died last Saturday (26).

The YouTuber is famous for his content featuring dangerous animals such as crocodiles, snakes and spiders. His goal was to educate and inspire his audience about wildlife and environmental conservation.

He left three children: Taylor, Maddie and Rex. Dingo and his family maintained a park open to the public in South AfricaDingo farm and reptile park.

On social media, the YouTuber’s wife, Kirsty, shared that he has “fought incredibly hard during this extremely difficult time.”

“We know he was struggling to survive here with us and we are so grateful for that. Unfortunately, despite his strength and resilience, my beloved husband passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family,” the woman said.

Dingo has often been compared to Australian naturalist Steve Irwin, known as the “Crocodile Hunter”, who became known internationally due to his television show. He died when he was attacked by a stingray in 2006 at the age of 44 while filming a documentary.
