A second man has been sentenced to eight weeks in prison in London on Thursday for intimidating UK Health Secretary General Chris Witty, a leading figure in the fight against the Govt-19 epidemic.
Jonathan Chew, 24, pleaded not guilty to the charges of harassing him with a fine of 1,000 (1,200 euros) after first pleading not guilty.
Louis Hughes, 24, was sentenced to eight weeks in prison and fined 300 300 (360 euros) in damages on July 30.
In videos that were widely circulated on social media in late June 2021, the two men could be seen touching Chris Witty, putting their hands on his shoulders and smiling as the health officer tried to push them away, apparently embarrassed.
