author: Joao J.D. Souza

From Monday, 11/1, the 246-Hospital Unimed bus line starts operating, leaving the Central Integration Station (TCI) and Piracicamirim (TPI) station. Initially this line will operate from Monday to Friday. In total, 31 flights will be made daily to Unimed Hospital, 16 departures from TCI and 15 from TPI. Unimed Hospital receives daily about 1,700 people, including staff and external workers.

According to the Municipal Secretariat for Urban Mobility, Traffic and Transport (Semuttran), the decision was made after a technical study and aims to better serve the German borough areas, Cidade Jardim, Vila Independência and Jardim Morumbi, with the main objective of facilitating the movement of Unimed hospital workers and users who need public transport .
Semuttran’s director of public transportation, Vanderlei Quartarolo, explains that today’s option for residents of these neighborhoods to go to Unimed Hospital is to take the 240 Cecap TCI/TPI line.

“These and other improvements are part of the decisions of Mayor Luciano Almeida and Semutran’s secretary, Jean Franco Oliveira, to better serve the population using public transport,” emphasized the Director of Transportation.
