A man used a litter to catch an alligator (a type of North American crocodile) that was roaming in front of a house in Orange County, Florida (see video above).

Eugene Pozzi, an Army veteran United States of America, admits he was terrified, but acted because “someone needed to do something,” he told the Wesh website.

“Someone has to step up and do something, we all have to take care of each other, right?” question. “I was really scared because he was so strong. And I didn’t expect it, he was trying to get out, wagging his tail,” he said.

The animal was in front of the house of Dennis Sparks, one of Posey’s neighbors, who only realized what was happening when she heard the noise during captivity, photographed by another resident of the neighborhood.

Buzzi, who attributed the success of the operation to his military training, said he didn’t know exactly how to best handle the situation and so he did it “their way.”

Once the animal got into the litter, he was able to move the container into a lake, where he carefully opened the lid and let the crocodile go.

After the video was posted on the Internet, Orange County authorities warned of the dangers of trying to capture this type of animal on your own, and that residents should always contact municipal services, which send specialized workers.
