A 26-year-old man in the United States took on a very strange situation while trapped in a traffic jam on the Atchafalaya Bridge in Louisiana. Bored, he decided to jump from the bridge into the water. The moment was filmed by his friend Khoury Vaughan.
After jumping, Jimmy Jennings injured his shoulder and was unable to swim ashore due to the current. He stayed in the water for about 3 hours, he told KATC TV.
“When I fell into the water my shoulder came back, I kind of injured my shoulder, but I started swimming. I couldn’t get back to land because the current was too strong. I was in the water for about 2.5 to three hours and I thought I was going to die but God saved me.”
After all this, he was said to have come to an island. There, he says he found a boat and continued trying to find the way, before a policeman found him. Jennings has been nominated for felony and felony trespassing.
“I got rocks out of my mind. Everything was going my way and I’ve seen people do it before, I didn’t remember until after I jumped that this was in Movies“.
