Reporter Flavio Ortega who worked at Disney Channels Until the beginning of this week, he announced this Wednesday that he will take over as Corinthians’ Director of Communications. The news was spread on his social media, with the right to a photo with the club’s president, Duilio Monteiro Alves, and marketing director Jose Colagrorosi Neto.
“What an honor, it’s a new stage in my career: Communications Manager for Sport Club Corinthians Paulista.. Let’s go together, Phil, as we have always been for these nearly 20 years,” the professional began, citing some of the important names in calling at Parque São Jorge.
“Thank you, Corinthians, Dolio Montero Alves, Jose Colagrossi, Adriano Montero Alves and the entire communications and marketing team,” Ortega continued, congratulating a lot in the comments on his social networks. On Instagram, he also mentioned Raquel Dreamer, Joe Ribeiro and Olafo Guerra, who are responsible for the daily communication of the board of directors and professional representatives until today.
Ortega has been covering Corinthians news for the past 19 years, right after graduating in journalism at Methodist University in São Paulo. It was one of the oldest names among the Venegro sector.
Having lived the daily life of Corinthians as a radio reporter, he has joined the television team for the past decade and has always been in charge of Parque São Jorge club. He was one of the few present, for example, in the match against Deportivo Cali last week in Colombia.
Corinthians has yet to confirm the organizational chart for the club’s new connection with Ortega’s arrival, nor has it made an official announcement on the matter. It should start providing services from next week.
