A donkey was found leading a group of deer in California, United States, after disappearing for five years. He escaped after being frightened by a mountain lion while hiking, according to Dave and Terry Drury, the animal’s owners.

The video, recorded by Max Fennell, was posted in March, but went viral this week. “It’s probably one of the craziest hunts I’ve been on yet. A herd of elk found it A donkey was adopted.
