According to The Telegraph, King Charles III was going to tell people close to him that he would like to rekindle relations with his youngest son, Harry. The former prince and his wife, Meghan Markle, made serious accusations against the British royal family in the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan.
The information gathered by the British newspaper contradicts what Harry said in an interview about the film. In the documentary, he reported that the family upheld “lies” to protect his older brother, William, and refused to defend Meghan Markle from the racist attacks propagated by the British press.
The couple also claimed that the royal family themselves would be resistant to Meghan and that the motive for this would be racial. However, Telegraph sources report that the monarch is open to his two sons and has always sought to stay in touch with both of them – even after Harry decided to give up the peerage and move to the US.
However, according to the newspaper, Harry and Charles had some occasional disagreements, but nothing that deeply damaged the relationship. The publication says that the king has invited (unofficially) the younger and daughter-in-law to the coronation ceremony, which will be held on May 6 this year in Westminster Abbey, in London. According to the newspaper, official invitations have not yet been sent to people.
