After complaining about the anti-politics COVID-19 From a restaurant in Morristown, NJ, a customer left a message addressed to the waitress on the bill, swearing at her and refusing to leave a tip.
According to information from G1, the facility opened in the middle of the pandemic. New Jersey allows 50% of seating capacity and the venue uses these and other measures, such as the need to stay a maximum of 90 minutes in the venue, to avoid queues.
More than 90 minutes after customers had been seated in the restaurant, the waitress, Beth, approached the table to tell them their time was almost up, something the customers had already been told. The desk paid the bill but it was not a tip.
“Sorry, but the waitress and…that. don’t fire customers after 90 minutes,” the customer wrote in the push notice.
The note went viral with the comment on Facebook causing the waitress to receive nearly $2,000 in tip. “I want to give the money back to our community,” Beth commented.
