SpaceX astronaut hospitalized after landing; “The condition is stable,” NASA says.

The crew members of the SpaceX Dragon capsule were transferred to a medical center in Florida – instead of returning to their base in Houston – according to information from CNN.

According to the American news portal, the crew consists of three NASA astronauts and a Russian astronaut.

One of them remained in the hospital on Friday afternoon (25) due to a “medical problem,” while the other three returned to Houston after a health evaluation at a hospital near the crew landing site.

“To protect the crew member’s medical privacy, specific details about the individual’s condition or identity will not be shared,” NASA news chief Cheryl Warner said in response to CNN.

The statement read: “The only astronaut still in the hospital is in stable condition and is being monitored as a precaution.”

Before landing in the Gulf of Mexico, the four-person crew spent nearly eight months aboard the International Space Station, a routine mission carried out by SpaceX on behalf of NASA.
