Many rooms are already empty. There is still a cafeteria (the parish has already notified it will close), a restaurant on the mezzanine, a lottery, an optometrist, and a natural products store. These last two points have a door leading to Rua XV de Novembro and will be less affected.

In practical terms, the building will no longer contain the corridor that connects XV Street with Getulio Vargas Street. Paulo Ricardo da Silva, who runs the place, says these traffic areas will be transformed into commercial rooms, with entrances facing both roads.
