Fans are thrilled when the legendary 80s music star returns to the UK to perform two exclusive shows in 2025.
The 75-year-old singer is scheduled to spend two days in Europe next year, on Saturday, June 7 at Scottish Fuel’s Murrayfield in Edinburgh, and on Saturday, June 21 at Anfield in Liverpool.
The upcoming exhibitions will mark their first appearance in Scotland’s capital in 46 years and in Liverpool in 45 years.
It’s Billy Joel! “As the decades pass, Billy Joel’s music remains timeless and these exhibits are about to become part of his lasting legacy,” an online summary says.
“As these are their only European performances in 2025, they are sure to be moments recorded in history.”

This will be his first performance in the Scottish capital in 46 years and in Liverpool in 45 years.
The singer is known for a string of hit songs including Piano Man
Fans can expect to hear popular tracks including Uptown Woman, Simply The Manner You Are, The Longest Time and Vienna.
Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 4 October 2024 via Ticketmaster.
Joel becomes the second artist to be confirmed at Anfield in the summer of 2025, following Dua Lipa’s announcement.
These two shows will follow their sold-out appearance at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in August.
Following the announcement, fans took to X to share their excitement, with one user writing: “Billy Joel will be doing not one but two UK exhibitions next year, not good.”
Another added: “Glad I missed the Oasis and Coldplay ticket, Billy Joel is coming back to the UK next year.”
A third said: “I know what I want to put on my list for Santa @Billyjoel.”
A fourth wrote: “Billy Joel is at Anfield next year. I saw him live last year at Hyde Park and he was fantastic.”

Billy released his first single in nearly two decades in February
Joel scored 33 of the top 40 hits – all of which he wrote himself.
In February, Joel explained why it took him nearly two decades to release his new single, Flip the Lights Again On.
Speaking to co-writer Freddie Wexler on Audacy Verify In, he said: “It was fun. The music is fun.
It was fun rock and roll. The period was all about fun – and I kind of lost that and turned the lights off because it wasn’t fun anymore.
Joel explained that although others begged him to return to the studio, he “always resisted.”
He added: I carefully avoided it because songwriting became painful. I have that high bar.
I told myself: If I don’t get to that bar, I’m going to beat myself up and beat myself up and hate myself. So I stopped doing it because I was tired of feeling this way.
Over the years, Joel has recorded 33 top 40 hits – all of which he wrote himself.
He has won six Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award.
