João Reis’s success was very quiet. The 24-year-old from Pernambuco confirmed his preference against Argentine guest Ezequiel Manferrer and scored 6/1 and 6/2 in 1h05. His next opponent was another Argentine, Tomas Farjad.
The final round of qualifying takes place on Monday and the Brazilians are trying to join Felipe Meligeni, Gustavo Hyde and Pedro SakamotoDirect entrant.
Sell matches for Challenger in the US
Karue Sell of Santa Catarina, ranked No. 300, competes in the Tiburon Challenger on hard courts in the United States. The only Brazilian in the group, he made his debut against Frenchman Antoine Garnet-Chauving, ranked 751.
