Angélica reveals she had to hide from Xuxa backstage at Domingão TV News

Angélica Ksyvickis revealed some secrets of Domingão’s Lip Sync battle on Monday afternoon (26). In addition to the backstage of the Globo program, the presenter showed that she had to escape from Xuxa Meneghel behind the cameras. After all, her professional colleague broke into her dressing room and almost ruined one of the surprises of the panel.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Vou de Táxi’s voice gave details about the entire process of embodying Miley Cyrus in North America. She also explained that her friend almost never saw her dress up as Xuxa Park (1994-2001).

Angelica was trying on her clothes when Xuxa knocked on the door of her dressing room. “Even though you ignore me, I love you, okay?” joked Sasha Meneguel’s mother, who was denied entry to the room.

How was the lip sync battle?

The presenters reversed roles, with Xuxa calling Vou de Táxi alongside some former Pakistanis; Angelica in turn went to Lua de Cristal with her former stage assistants. They also performed as North Americans Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus respectively.

Huck chose not to announce the winner on the board. “If I give the victory to Angelica, they’ll say it’s marmalade. If I give it to Xuxa, I’ll sleep on the sidewalk today,” he joked, and thanked the artists for the performance they gave at the premiere of their new season.
