Last Wednesday (21), the Science and Technology Officers of the Federal Executive accepted the proposal presented by the Ministry of Management and Innovation (MGI). The meeting was held virtually and was attended by the General Coordinator of Sindsep-PE José Carlos Oliveira and the Secretary General of the entity José Felipe Pereira as well as the Directors Eduardo Albuquerque, Jimuel Nunes and Jaime Vieira.
During the meeting, employees discussed the federal government’s proposal, which offered an adjustment above inflation and real gains, but without restructuring the category, pointing to difficulties in balancing the coming years. According to the union’s general coordinator, there is progress compared to previous administrations. He stressed: “We have made progress under the current government through real salary increases and inflationary losses, which did not happen in previous governments.”
According to José Felipe, it is necessary to mobilize everyone to seek a permanent dialogue with the government so that the restructuring process can actually take place. He said: “We need to pressure the government to carry out a profound restructuring of the federal executive professions, putting an end to the salary disparity that exists between similar professions and between workers in the same profession, but with different training.”
It is worth noting that negotiations with the government end this week. According to MGI, the closure comes after the deadlines for submitting the budget bill proposal and sending the signed bills to the National Congress for a vote.
