Actor Theo Baker47 years old, filed a lawsuit against TV RecordClaiming that his career was damaged after participating in the program “A Fazenda” in 2009. Baker is seeking R$10.2 million in compensation for moral and material damages and labor issues.

According to the F5 portal of Folha de S.Paulo, the lawsuit filed by Theo Becker is still ongoing at the 66th Labor Court of Rio de Janeiro since August 5. The actor, who had prominent roles in documentary series such as “A Escrava Isaura” (2004) and “Os Mutantes” (2008), recalls that his participation in the reality show was at the request of the presenter, with the aim of increasing the audience, but after the show his career suffered a hard blow, with fewer job opportunities.

After participating in “A Fazenda”, Theo Becker had difficulty resuming his television career, and was content to participate in scattered programs such as “Dancing Brasil” in 2017 and the scripted series “Lia” in 2018.

In 2020, in an interview with RedeTV! he declared that he had evidence that his behavior on the reality show was caused by the program’s management. “The only person who helped me was Brito Jr. He can confirm that the ‘crazy man from A Fazenda’ was created by the program’s management,” Becker said, reiterating that his actions on the reality show were manipulated by the network.
