Messi reaches fifth Copa America final with Argentina: ‘These are the last battles’ | Copa America

Argentina are through to the Copa America final once again. Current world and continental champions, Messi’s side beat Canada in the semi-finals to secure a place in the final. The No. 10 will be competing in his fifth final of the tournament, and he said he knew it would be his last fight as a player.

“Let’s enjoy everything we experience, what happens as a team, as a group. I will repeat: it’s not easy to reach the final again, to compete for the title. What we are achieving is very difficult. And enjoy. It’s not easy,” Messi said as he left the pitch, adding:
