More than 3,000 people explore science and technology with the PUCRS traveling museum in Allegretti

This three-day experience took place in the gymnasium of the Oswaldo Arana State School, and is part of the company’s pillars of evaluating, developing and promoting educational, cultural and innovative projects. The visit ended on the afternoon of Friday the 5th, and brought together the Alegrete community, as well as the school’s audience.

Without adequate supervision, wild boars roam the interior of the Allegretti meatpacking plant.

The main goal of the project is to encourage students in education networks to think about and be aware of sustainability and environmental actions. The museum offers 30 interactive experiences in different areas of knowledge, which enhance each person’s autonomy and sense of responsibility for human actions and their impact on the planet.

Samantha Tekimi, the company’s president, emphasizes the importance of offering this activity to students, and promoting education: “We realize that by bringing these experiences closer to reality, we contribute to creating a generation that is more aware of the importance and impact of science in the daily lives of people and the planet.”

In Allegretti, the initiative was implemented by Corsan, with the support of the City Council, through the Ministry of Education and the PUC Museum of Technological Sciences.
