Hey Botafogo Signed the most wanted signing in the next transfer window: Argentine midfielder Thiago Almada. John Textor has sealed the deal with Atlanta United. The purchase is part of a project by Eagle Football, the North American group, and the player is expected to move to Lyon in the future.

Revealed by Velez Sarsfield, Almada has been at Atlanta United since 2022. He was one of the top three players in the last MLS – this season, he has scored five goals and two assists in 16 games. He was a world champion with Argentina in 2022.

This is Botafogo’s third signing in the transfer window. The club had already signed initial contracts with midfielder Allan and striker Igor Jesus, who had already undergone tests at CT. All three players will only be able to make their debuts from July 10, the date that opens the transfer window.
