Before the start of the Copa America, Brazil and the USA will face each other in a friendly that will mark the teams’ last stop. The game, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, will be broadcast on Open TV, Cable TV and Streaming June 12 at 8pm (Brasilia time).
After beating Mexico with basically a reserve team and scoring a goal late in the game, Brazil comes to Orlando to face the United States with some lineup changes. Coach Dorival Jr. continued his speech and asked to keep striker Endrik on the bench, despite being decisive in the game against the Mexicans, scoring a goal in stoppage time.
On the other hand, Winnie Jr. should start playing against America. The player, who is in his prime after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid and becoming one of the favorites to win the World Cup, was also instrumental in the game against Mexico.
Another player expected to take the field against the United States is West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who is involved in an investigation in which he is accused of forcing yellow cards in favor of teammates’ races. If found guilty, the player should receive severe punishment and be banned from professional football.
The game also marks the final challenge for coach Doriwal Jr. before his first match as Brazil captain. Torrival, who reached his fourth game, has two wins and a draw, has been praised for the team’s attacking strategy, but still shows shortcomings in the defensive sector of the field.
