Bolsonaro is absent and Doria goes to dinner from Tarcisio to Campos Neto

Former state governor Joao Doria attended the celebrations. He, who was Bolsonaro’s ally in the Palacio do Planalto campaign with Bolsonaro in 2018, became a political enemy of the former president shortly after the 2019 inauguration.

Although vying for state government, Tarcicio also received Rodrigo García (PSDB), who took office when Doria left the position to run for the presidency.

Also present were Ministers of State from the last government, such as Bruno Bianco (General Prosecutor’s Office of the Federation), Fabio Faria (Communications), Flavia Arruda (Secretariat of the Government) and Wagner Rosario (Comptroller General of the Federation).

Party leaders such as Gilberto Kassab (PSD) and Marcos Pereira (Republicans) were present at the ceremony. Tarcisio is considered a pre-candidate for the presidency in 2026, contested by the Liberal Party, Bolsonaro’s party, and Pereira’s Republicans, which he currently houses. Today, Kassab is Tarcisio’s government secretary. Next to him was the Secretary of Strategic Projects, Guilherme Afif Domingos.

Other names from Brasilia seen at the celebration include Daniela Marques, former president of Caixa, and Campos Neto’s lawyers, Ticiano Figueiredo and Pedro Evo Veloso.

Faria Lima’s representatives included BTG Pactual’s president, Roberto Saloti, and the bank’s president, Andre Esteves. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Managing Board of Bradesco, Luiz Carlos Trabuco, as well as Luis Stuhlberger, Founder and Director of Fundo Verde, and Rafael Forlanetti, Director of XP Investimentos.
