Samsung plans to make some specific AI features in Galaxy AI available to several older mobile phone and tablet models through the One UI 6.1 update. Smartphones from the S22 and S21 lines are among the devices that will receive new features.
According to information received from 9to5Google that it Android CentralA post from a Samsung representative on the company's community forum in Korea indicated the partial arrival of Galaxy AI for the older lines of the brand's smartphones.

The Galaxy S22 and S21 smartphones will receive Galaxy AI features
A slightly scaled-down version of the Galaxy AI (without the Instant Slow-Mo) will be coming to Samsung's lineup of phones released from 2022 onwards, including the S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Tab S8, and Tab. S8 Ultra.
Each device will get the same version of Galaxy AI found on the more affordable Galaxy S23 FE models. Instant Slow-Mo, which automatically plays a slow-motion video when tapped, was introduced in the Galaxy AI with the S24 line, though it's now available in the S23 models as well.
For 2021 Samsung mobile phone owners, there is also good news. Samsung's next update will bring two Galaxy AI features, Circle to Search and Magic Rewrite, to the S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra, Flip 3, and Fold 3.
Samsung continues to expand the availability of Galaxy AI
At the end of March, Samsung announced the global availability, including in Brazil, of new Galaxy AI features for smartphones in the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 lines. The Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are also receiving the update.
And with the latest information that the S22 and S21 lines will also receive Galaxy AI features, we can expect the company to continue to gradually expand the availability of AI tools to more devices of the brand.
