A magnitude 4.7 earthquake was reported in New York; Videos show the tremors:

After a magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck the New York region of the United States, a magnitude 4 earthquake was felt at the same location on Friday afternoon on the 5th.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the new quake struck around 6pm Brasilia time and hit the same area as the previous one.

This time, the earthquake was reported in Gladstone, New Jersey, about 80 kilometers west of Manhattan, New York. According to US officials, no 'major damage' was recorded after the quake.

Additional data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) indicated that the quake struck at a depth of 9.4 kilometers.
