What is digital FGTS?
The new FGTS collection platform will rely on information provided by employers on the eSocial website, where companies communicate worker information to the government, such as employment relationships and contributions.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the goal is to reduce bureaucracy and facilitate the implementation of procedures by officials and employees. The information included in the eSocial will be sent to Caixa Econômica Federal through FGTS Digital, and the system will be responsible for creating the evidence and allocating the payment.
With the implementation of the new feature, the following changes are planned:
- Collection via BEX: Collection of amounts will only be done through BEX.
- Due Date: The deadline for monthly FGTS payment will be until the 20th of the month following due.
- Previous skills: Employers will use the Social Conectivade system to generate FGTS events prior to implementing the platform.
- Data source: Information sent to the social environment will feed FGTS Digital almost simultaneously.
- FGTS Regularity Certificate: Failure to pay amounts due within the deadline may affect the issuance of the CRF.
