When in landscape (horizontal) orientation, it reproduces images at 1080p HD resolution.

The sound is stereo, suitable for watching video or playing ambient music. But it doesn’t have the ability, for example, to liven up a party. It is possible to connect Bluetooth headphones to the device, if you do not want to disturb the house while watching video or listening to music.

Your camera can be used to make video calls — it works between Echo devices or smartphones with the Alexa app — to monitor your home, and even to watch your pets while you’re away.

The Echo Show 15 screen also becomes an object of decoration. You can select the remaining photos on the board — there are preset options and you can use your own photos, like a digital photo frame.

But be careful when choosing the installation location – since the glass is highly reflective, lights may interfere with vision. I recommend placing it near the front door of the house, so all family members can access it, or even in the kitchen. Imagine how nice it would be to look at the recipe (Cookpad and Panelinha skills are very interesting) or even watch an episode of the series while cooking.

Is it worth it?

The device isn’t cheap, but there’s no product similar to the Echo Show 15 from competitors – which works more with speakers.
