Scout Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis, recorded on social media a moment of affection that she shared with her father on Thanksgiving, which is celebrated in the United States on Thursday (23).

The 32-year-old daughter of Bruce and Demi Moore posted a video on Instagram Stories of her father — who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia earlier this year — gently holding her hand as the two sat together at the dinner table.

In the video, now circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Bruce, 68, wears a gray beanie and light gray sweatshirt for the party day, while Scout wears a white floral-print blouse.

In the log that Scout shared, she rested her head on her father’s right hand as he stood behind her.

It’s unclear whether or not the star’s blended family spent Thanksgiving together, but Bruce’s wife, Emma Hemming, posted a group photo of the family on the holiday. “I am grateful and grateful to know this kind of love,” she wrote on Instagram.

Internet users pointed out that the photo appeared to be old, as Bruce’s eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, was pregnant in the group photo, and she gave birth to her daughter, Louetta, in April.

Bruce’s wife and five daughters have been open and transparent about their journey through his health struggles.

After revealing the actor’s original aphasia diagnosis in a statement released in February, the family shared that the moments they spend with him are precious.

“He’s himself, which I’ve learned in that regard is the best thing you could ask for,” his third daughter, Tallulah Willis, said on “The Drew Barrymore Show” earlier this month. “I see love when I’m with him, and he’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special.”

The family also shared their grief on social media, with Rumer posting on Instagram last week an old photo of herself and her father with a touching caption. “I miss my dad so much,” she wrote alongside the photo.

The wife also spoke about what family life has been like since her diagnosis, revealing that she sometimes feels “guilty” about having access to resources that other families with similar health issues don’t have. “When I can go for a walk to clear my mind, I can’t help but realize that not all caregivers can do this,” he explained.
