The difference seems to be negligible, but since we’re talking about a small device in its own right, any gains that don’t represent a significant increase in dimensions are welcome. In this case, the watch has become slightly smaller, becoming 0.8 mm thinner than the Watch5 in both versions. Weight, in turn, remained practically unchanged.
Still in terms of display, it uses a Super Amoled panel with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. Translation to everyday life: This configuration allows you to see the watch display clearly even outdoors and on sunny days – in this case, only reflections can get in the way. The screen has an “always on display” mode, which leaves the screen on all the time, but with a lower brightness – I didn’t see any advantage in this function, which just uses more battery.
To operate the watch, you can use the existing traditional touch screen and two buttons – one of which immediately returns to the home screen and the other is “return to previous screen”. The interesting point about these buttons is that they are identical, allowing you to wear the watch on either wrist, simply by changing the position of the bracelets.
Finally, accessing the watch’s main powers is simple: simply swipe the screen up to reveal a series of very intuitive icons indicating what each one does – if you’re not sure which one, just press and hold the icon.
There are two improvements over the previous generation, the new Exynos W930 processor (dual-core, 1.4GHz) and 2GB of RAM, which makes browsing extremely fast and throttle-free.

Although more trivial functions, such as heart rate monitoring and sports tracking, are the most requested in a smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch6 is not limited to them.
