The 38-year-old winger will stay at Morumbi for another season, possibly the last of his career.
Talks have progressed, and Rafinha has signed the new commitment ahead of the trip to Goiânia, the city where Tricolor will face Goias on Wednesday in the Brazilian league.

Rafinha, a São Paulo native since childhood, became one of the team’s leaders and an authority in the Brazilian Cup champion team.
At the age of 38, the right-back has become a regular in this position and played at a high level during the season, being decisive in important matches, such as the victory over Palmeiras, in the Brazilian Cup.
In addition to his performances on the field, Rafinha has been praised for his daily behaviour, and his leadership of both experienced athletes and the youngest members of the team.
In 2023, the full-back played 36 matches, 31 of them as a starter. During this period, Rafinha scored a goal and provided an assist.
