Wet Leg performs at the festival and the guitarist cries on stage

The latest attraction at The One stage on Saturday, British reveal Wet Lag brought all the indie rock to The Town on stage. It was the duo’s first show in Brazil, which left the members emotional. It is also the final show of the tour which toured various countries and promoted the girls’ debut album of the same name.

Before performing “Clear,” guitarist Hester Chambers crouched down on stage to cry. While Chambers couldn’t contain her emotions, singer Rianne Tisdale thanked her fans for their love. paying off:

Despite the emotion and connection with fans who filled the front of the stage, the two performed to an empty crowd at The One – attendees preferred to wait for the Foo Fighters on the Skyline Stage lawn.

Who are the members of Wet Leg?

The duo consists of British friends Ryan Tisdale and Hester Chambers. They started singing in 2019.

The debut album was released in 2022. Titled “Wet Leg,” the debut album reached number one on the British and Australian charts.

At the 2023 awards ceremony Grammy Awards, the world’s major music awards, received two awards: Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance. They were also nominated in the Newcomer of the Year category.

They have been influenced by names such as Björk, Adrian Lenker of Big Thief, The White Stripes, The Strikes, Kings of Leon, PJ Harvey and Joanna Newson.
