Ancient tombs of the Knights Templar discovered in England

Each of the graves discovered contains a cross surrounded by two circles. An insignia of the Templars. Additionally, one of the graves displays a Crusader’s cross, symbolizing the individual’s dual affiliation as a member of both the Templar Order and the Crusaders. Also, at the base of the same tomb is a Templar cross, a variant of the Jerusalem cross, which suggests that the Unknown Knight was sometimes connected to the Templar order on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The Knights Templar were a large organization of devout Christians during the medieval era.
