Miley Cyrus will release a new song and video titled “Used To Be Young” on August 25th. In celebration of the release of “Used To Be Young,” Miley is sharing stories from several chapters of her life on ABC’s Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions).
The specials airs across ABC on Tuesday, August 24 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM ET. Renewed from the version originally released on Disney+, the Special Edition now includes interviews and new songs from the Endless Summer Vacation album, including the chart-topping single “Flowers.”
“Used To Be Young” is Miley’s first release since her hit album Endless Summer Vacation, which includes the hit song “Flowers” and 12 other tracks.
“Flowers” became a worldwide hit spending 8 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 – a personal record for Miley. “Flowers” was number one on US pop radio for 10 weeks and became the fastest track to reach that position in a decade.
“Flowers” has been streamed four billion times and was the fastest track in history to reach 500 million streams on Spotify. It is officially the longest running No. 1 track in the UK by a solo female artist.
Additionally, “Used To Be Young” was released just prior to the 10th anniversary of Miley Cyrus’ 3x Platinum album, Bangerz (September). Bangerz is a landmark album that brings together beloved songs like “Wrecking Ball,” “We Can’t Stop,” and “Adore You.”
“Prone to fits of apathy. Problem solver. Twitter buff. Wannabe music advocate.”
