Jorge Aração talks about getting back on stage and treating cancer
For reporter Renata Seribelli and his daughters, the sampista recalled the moment he moved during the show.
“The scream I heard. That energy that surged. People spent a long time screaming. [Eu estava] On a bed of prayer and good energies so powerful to me, they made me walk to the front of the stage. There he said, I couldn’t stand it. “I am alive”.
Aragão also explained how frightened he was at the discovery Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma – cancer of the lymphatic system.

Jorge Aração, who was admitted to the hospital, responded very well to the start of treatment.
“I’ve already had my second chemotherapy. When I get into a machine like that where I stayed for so long—more than an hour in the audition—just the music hugs me, envelops me. It’s a blanket.”
Aragão was released and doctors advised him not to stop working, even during treatment, which would last five months. Continues to fulfill the show schedule.
“Sing as often as possible. Never mind the bad. Forgive sins,” the sambista sang. “This is how I will live all the time,” he said. He even provided a snippet of an unreleased song (Watch the video at the top of this report).
The artist was also affected during the interview with amazing. “Is this crying good for you? Is it an emotion?” asked Renata Seripelli.
He replied, “It’s good, it’s good. It’s me. It’s rebirth, Renata.”
