Denilson and Bello announce an agreement over the millionaire’s debts

Before the debts that spawned the legal struggle of more than 20 years, Bello and Denilson were friends.

Denilson, who played for a Spanish team, bought the rights to the band Soweto, formed by Bello, in 1999. A year later, Bello left the band to pursue a solo career. From there the problems started.

With the corrections, the current value of Bello’s debt is greater than R$7 million. In 2017, the singer tried to reverse the situation and filed a lawsuit against Denilson for moral damages. But the court considered his action unfounded.

Afterwards, Bello said he was willing to pay “only” R$4.9 million. Denilson, in turn, asked the Fifth Civil Court of São Bernardo do Campo to send a letter to Rede Globo.
