Iga Swiatek will be hoping to take a step closer to defending her French Open title, as she will take on China’s Roland Garros champion Wang Xinyu on Saturday for a place in the last 16.
Elena Rybakina, who has so far been leading the campaign to oust Swiatek in Paris, faces Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo, while today’s match is a match between last year’s finalist Coco Jove and 16-year-old superstar Mira Andreeva.
Casper Ruud meets Zhang Jizhen while Holger Rohn plays Gennaro Alberto Olivieri, while the evening session sees Alexander Zverev take on Francis Tiafoe at Court Philippe Chatrier.
