In the video, released by the Enid Police Department, Officers David Snead and Neil Storey can be seen running towards the alleged distress call. “I think it’s a person,” said one of the officers.

The goat was upset

According to the British newspaper womanThe cops were sure they were approaching someone in trouble, but when they finally got to the source of the commotion, they discovered that the “person” who needed to be rescued was just a bad-tempered goat. “Oh! It’s a goat.”

The farmer explained the situation to the police, who quickly realized it was a false alarm.

“The two ran towards the sound, and soon discovered that their damsel in distress was a very upset goat, who the farmer explained had broken up with one of his friends,” the police wrote in a statement.
