A new book shows that accounting is becoming an increasingly feminine science

The Academia Paulista de Contabilidade-APC launches its latest work: “Accounting indulgences, economic and social at present, them.”

It is a collection of 10 technical studies and articles produced by 16 authors. All of them are women, accounting professionals, academics and guests, most of whom are Masters or Doctors in Accounting Sciences.

Through this initiative, APC shows its appreciation and respect for the intellectual, technical and scientific work produced by the Women’s Pavilion for Accounting Sciences, by bringing together specialists from Brazil, Argentina and Portugal, in an unprecedented work, given the originality of the topics presented, which will be of great contribution to accounting professionals, students and businessmen. And managers and scientists.

Topics covered

The sixteen authors, both national and international, discuss topics such as: Metaverse; the impact of the SDGs on modern companies; Intellectual capital in good intention; training; New international assessment standards. use of the XBRL language; boards of directors; Profile and professional performance observer and accounting expert. and relevance versus reliability of different accounting measurement bases.

Although technical, the topics covered are presented on 184 pages, in simple, direct, didactic language, with illustrative examples and tables. The work has been enriched with a light and modern design that makes reading stimulating, to facilitate the assimilation of the practical lessons contained in it.
