Fernando plans for Zaro 2023 and says he asked Tite for advice after receiving an invitation from Corinthians

Coach Fernando Lazaro is looking forward to the start of next season. After almost three weeks of preparation at CT Joaquim Grava, the Corinthians professional took the opportunity to analyze the “first contact” with the players and make a good forecast for 2023.

“Fiel can expect an amazing year. We’re working hard and doing well, a very good start to the pre-season. We managed to use the time well in a different scenario, not so simple, and the athletes understood the importance of doing the period. Fernando Lazaro also detailed his transition to the technical leadership of Corinthians. According to the coach, the idea was built inside the club already in the final stage of the last edition of the Brazilian Championship, in light of the uncertainty about the permanence of the Portuguese, Vitor Pereira.

“We were already doing a parallel process there at the end of the season, even because there was no definition of permanence, Alessandro had been decided on for a while. So I started making a schedule for the resume, laying out what I understood would be ideal for reruns, and a pre-season schedule under a different scenario.” We discussed the conditions, and then there was confirmation of the start of the state, so our condition was already, ”the professional revealed.

In a follow-up to the interview, Fernando Lázaro explained the moment he had to leave the Brazilian team to take charge of Timão permanently. “At the end of the tournament, I went to a meeting to pass a conclusion, a general idea and to understand what they need, because I had already gone to watch some matches of other teams, already about to start the cup. I had a long conversation with Juninho and Tite, and they thanked me, And they said that participation is useless and they said that it is a unique opportunity. Finally, Fernando Lazaro revealed his desire to impose his best on all four lines of the court. According to him, Corinthians should position themselves in an orderly manner, with strong defense and diversified offensive sector, and also enhance individual characteristics.

“I was building my football vision over time, and it was solidified in this period that the club achieved a balance in the way of playing, a stable defense, supporting the attacking part to build, with differences.
